B.Ed Admission Process

Somebody has passed B.Ed. degree examination with 55 percent marks (50% theory 50% practical separately) and has obtained second division marks in graduation. Therefore, only those students whose B.Ed. results are complete on the date of application may apply for admission. The merit of an applicant will be calculated on the basis of full marks in theory and 50 percent of marks obtained in practical in B. Ed. or an equivalent recognized examination plus marks obtained in entrance test for M.Ed.The semester fee will differ from 45,000 to 75,000 in any recognized universities of India. The medium of examination will be English only. In most universities 50 to 70% seats reserved for the students of that state and rest for the others.

• Candidate need to have bachelor’s degree from recognized university with at least 55% marks.

• Candidate need to have working experience of at least 2yrs in teaching profession

Candidate can obtain the prospectus and application from the university counter or by post by paying Rs 550/- through DD drawn under the favor of Registrar of IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, and New Delhi. The same can be downloaded from the university website www.ignou.ac.in  by paying Rs 550/- . The duly field application form should be sent to the university before the due date.
